#thefourwinds is a heart-stopping read set during the Dust Bowl in 1930’s USA. This book shows the good, bad, and the ugly of farming in old California. I have a soft spot for this book since it takes place about 30 minutes from my home. You’ll meet a lovable main character, determined kids, and a whole lot of intriguing characters along the way
