I couldn’t put this book down at all. I was reading other reviews on people talking about the torture porn. I didn’t view it like that. I’ve read some horror books that were purely for shock value, gore, and torture porn. I felt that this was necessary in the story to highlight how terrible these crimes were and these still happen today.

Anyone who’s ever watched a serial killer documentary knows how screwed up and depraved these killers are and the book shows that. This book made me feel for the characters and the pov from the father was so sad. My first Karin Slaughter book did not disappoint!!
