I thought that after "Crown of Midnight" no other book in the series would give me such emotional damage. I was wrong, the last hundred pages of "Empire of Storms" wrecked me in the best way possible! Don't get me wrong, I hate when my favorite characters are kidnapped, tortured, injured, or die forever, but I understand that it's necessary for the story. However the actions of Maeve and what she did to Aelin's court made me want to fight Maeve myself. She is turning out to be such a good villain! So many plotlines and character development came together in this book and I am here for it!
