Exactly the romance I needed to help make me smile. Our Hot Lumberjack starts with an absolutely sexy bang which always makes me :-D and then goes for a mostly vibes and just enough ennui and steam and heart. I love these two navigating WHY they cannot seem to stop arguing and then banging, and how Ilan navigates his past hurt and how Abi comes to realize she's treating him not well despite actually really liking him. I loved how the author didn't actually paint Ilan's hurtful ex as 'evil' but as a person who has done wrong and will atone. PLUS Abi has guinea pigs (three of them) that she rescued from a cranky teacher who wasn't caring for them as they should be. Love it.

Lots of sequel bait (ABI'S SISTER AND SIMON) and I will be rooting for the author to keep publishing more in this world.
