Heath is the second book in the series and I was excited to explore this one as I had a fun time with the first book. I will say that I struggled with this one. And normally I never struggle with this author but this was a super SLOW read for me. So I really kinda pushed my way through it, it is a shorter book so it wasn't too bad. The story starts out as a fling, both of the main characters work in the medical industry, there is a sense of sweetness to this story, and a cozy vibe to the romance. I also felt that I just didn't quite connect with these two. I didn't understand the heroine at times, and how she was always pushing the hero away and almost like putting him down at times.
