It’s hard to say I enjoy this series because the subject matter is harsh. Human trafficking, rape and beating in the guise of an erotic novel does not sit well with my stomach. That being said this series is written so well and you feel so much for Dougie and Mat that you can not help but be drawn in. By the end you are on the edge on your seat waiting for the next installment. This title is about the auction. Mat the fighter is to go for little but is of special interest to one man Nicoli. Dougie is the bell of the so called ball and is expected to take in a giant purse. Dougie will do anything to assure him and his brother are sold together for then there might he hope of an escape. Harsh, but gripping and addictive.
