I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the rest of the series. Iain was a great MMC, and his relationship with his son Malcolm was so sweet, I hope he gets a story later in the series all grown up. Page was also a great FMC, she felt well rounded and didn’t feel tropey. Their relationship also progresses at a good pace. Would love to catch a glimpse of them in other books.
Graphic: Suicide
The book starts with a scene in which the MMC’s first wife commits suicide, six years prior to when the majority of the book takes place. If you skip the prologue there will still be references to the death and how later in the book as well.
