I enjoyed this. I wanted a fun, quick read and that's essentially what I got, although as the content warning at the beginning shows, this isn't just light and fluffy, there are some darker scenes. 

I love Greek mythology and I found the characters in this compelling. I was a bit bemused at the worldbuilding - the characters are still gods and goddesses with magical powers, this is not a retelling with humans, and yet at times they seem to have human limitations and be dependent on modern technology. 

The art style isn't completely to my taste if I'm honest, but I do love the use of bold colours (pink and blue are particularly utilised), it is really striking and one of the things that initially drew me to the book. 

Overall reading this was a decent way to spend a couple of hours, and I will be picking up the sequel when it comes out next year.
