JJ Mulder never misses. This series is engrained into my brain and i am forever grateful for JJ’s generosity in sending me eARC’s.
Every single book in the interconnected Offsides/SCU Hockey books is wonderful. It has the perfect amount of crossover so I can keep up with the characters I love without being overly confusing. The characters are all so well written and have such good depth that they feel real.
Specific to this book, I loved the two MMC’s and their dynamic. There miscommunication, but it doesn’t go too far. The growth throughout the book is wonderful to watch.AND, I feel like this is so important, the HEA isn’t “and everything was fixed and no one was a bad person anymore! which is necessary in books because not every single problem will resolve itself in a couple hundred pages. the world still sucks, but you can create your own HEA.
