Wrong Place Wrong Time
by Gillian McAllister
Wrong Place Wrong Time is an inventive, thoroughly gripping thriller which I absolutely could not stop listening to. Originally I intended to listen to the audiobook for a little while and then return to another book I am currently in the midst of, but it didn't happen. I ended up completing the book in almost a single sitting. Personally I don't often enjoy domestic thrillers, but the sci-fi slant to this one together with excellent writing really made it work for me.
The central time-bending concept works wonderfully and it's impossible not to be invested in what the main character is going through. There are constant twists, turns and revelations, some of which I saw coming and others took me completely by surprise. The ending of the story is perfect, I particularly loved the epilogue.
Highly recommended.
