This book is built on very specific assumptions about marriage and relationships, which are not specifically defined or explained anywhere. Also, I couldn't figure out who it was written for. There are some chapters about dating, but most of the book is directed to people who are already married. Unless you're already a white, conservative, middle-class evangelical, I'm not sure there's much in this book for you. However, there are some great points in here about communication in relationships.
