literarymarvel 's review for:
The Secret of Raven Point
by Jennifer Vanderbes
Vanderbes creates an engaging and realistic story about a woman and her quest to find her brother who goes missing in action in Italy during the Second World War.
From the beginning to end, I was enthralled with Vanderbes' talent for storytelling and enjoyed every word. She introduces a part of WWII many of us are ignorant of, and does so in a historical and surreal manner. The characters were vivid, real, and unique.
Highly recommend this book for anyone who loves history, military history, coming of age stories, or just great storytelling. I couldn't put this book down.
