Almost done with the Swamp Thing New52 series! After having a great last volume how does this one fare? Well...

Swamp Thing has brought some friends with him into the real world. In doing so he doesn't really know how to control them or if he should. These three, once avatar, people now must live a human life. On top of that the Sureen come into play. Who's that? Well they are the cult/religious following of the Green. Then we have a new group beyond the green, rot, and red called the Fungus...DUM DUM DUM! What will happen?

Good: Enjoyed Alec a lot still. He's really funny and charming in this Swamp Thing series. I also really enjoyed the art, the fight scenes, and all the stuff. I did like the Fungus stuff and the new ideas they were playing with there.

Bad: The two "bad guys" here are so meh I can't help but laugh. Like why trust them? Obviously these motherfuckers going to betray you. I didn't like the ending much either. I can start to see why this ends soon.

Overall I love Swamp Thing as a character but this volume is pretty uneven. Some good parts but nothing amazing.
