I am not big on fantasy and magical realism, so keep that in mind for this review. This book was good, but just was not as amazing as I expected it to be based on everyone raving about it. A lot of the story was confusing to me. Maybe because I listened to it on audio? It was beautifully written, I just didn't follow it all the way. And some of the side characters and family members got confusing.
