I received this novel in exchange for an honest review.

Em Barrett did a wonderful job with this novel, and I enjoyed the first two thirds of it a whole heck of a lot. I thought it was well written, and I enjoyed reading about Brecken and her past and present life.

However I thought the story turned when Reed came back into Brecken's life. I hate

cheating. I get that the love of her life came back, but Will, her fiance was a good man, and I was upset Brecken let Reed back into her life and bed so easily.

It just didn't seem realistic.

Other than that, I enjoyed this novel. I liked reading about how Brecken and Reed met and how their story progressed, but I wish there were more. While I enjoyed the story, I wasn't invested in their relationship.

Will definitely try another novels by Ms. Barrett.
