I liked this one better than the first one. I'm not sure that was a high bar to leap, because this book had a female character that was described in a non-sexual way, which was more than King could manage in book one of this series. I enjoyed meeting all the new characters, and the basic plot of the book. I want to know more about this Tower Roland is searching for, but I am assuming that will come with time.
