brittmariasbooks 's review for:
Black Dove White Raven
by Elizabeth Wein
You don't read Elizabeth Wein's book for a happy feeling...
But yeah, her books do always give me something to think about.
This book is not as much about war or segregation (or even religion?)as it is about family. And that aspect is done really good. This book is about a family, who just wants to be together. But all they get is so much bad luck.
What more can I say about it? Did I cry? Yes, a little.
Emilia and Teo are two sweethearts and I hope that they are going to be happy, where ever they are going to next.
I still love the plane aspect of Wein's books. It is still really cool to read about how people learn to fly.
I'm not sure how to rate this book. I'm thinking between the 3,5 and 4 stars.
