lyndagabby 's review for:
Earth (The Book): A Visitor's Guide to the Human Race
by Sam Means, Jason Ross, Jo Miller, John Oliver, Josh Lieb, Wyatt Cenac, Daniel Radosh, Elliott Kalan, Tim Carvell, Rich Bloomquist, David Javerbaum, Jon Stewart, Rory Albanese, Hallie Haglund, Steve Bodow, Kevin Bleyer, J.R. Havlan
I might be a little biased, The Daily Show is one of my favorite things and Jon Stewart is, well let's put it this way, when I daydream about being famous I'm always being interviewed by Jon Stewart.
So anyway, about the book. Not gonna lie I could have gone my whole like without a diagram of Larry King naked. And I don't agree with 100% of the points the book is trying to make. But it was entertaining and a good piece of satire (as always). The textbook binding and format gave me flashbacks to high school. Some chapters definitely shined brighter than others, but overall very funny and yes at times, thought provoking.
Great coffee table read...as long as your guests have a sense of humor.
