Glitterbomb might be one of the most surprising comics I read this year. I expected meh and got greatness!

Farrah is a actress. Well, she was, but then got older, had a kid, and now trying to get back in. So things aren't going the way she likes. She keeps going on interviews to try and score another acting spot but it's not happening. So she goes to the beach one day and boom, gets swallowed up and turned into some type of monster. This monster begins to kill people and she blacks out and let's the monster do her bidding against the hollywood fucks who wronged her.

Good: The metaphores going on in this book are pretty solid. Love the whole outlook on hollywood, especially in this day and age. I also enjoyed the art a lot and it was humorous when needed to be, and terrifying when it had to be. Also, the series has plenty of laugh out loud moments yet balances it with sadness.

Bad: I felt it needed another issue. The ending was to rushed and closed up. It's message got muddled a bit cause of it.

Overall it was really really fun and engaging read. I just wished it was longer and it could have been more impactful. However, as it stands was super fun read.
