Whoa.
I've never read a play like this.
Never in my life have a read a play that left me audibly gasping trying to understand what was going to happen next. Did I love it? I'm not sure. But, it was a much more interesting read than I thought it was going to be. So much happened in this play I am still trying to wrap my head around it. However, the thing that stood out the most to me were the conversations that were had by the characters. Specifically in the second act, in my opinion, there were some conversations had that were really uncomfortable for the characters. It was super interesting to see how each character reacted to the conversation. I was super all over the place about it.
I most definitely am going to have see this play live. If I was this shook over reading the play, I'm pretty sure I would be losing my marbles watching it live. I also think that the first act would make a little more sense to me live. I enjoyed it, but I had a little bit of a hard time connecting it to all of the amazingness of the second act. This is probably the most enjoyable full length play I've read it a while. Yay plays!
