Throne of Glass
by Sarah J. Maas
I don't review SJM books because I AINT GOT TIME FOR FANDOM WANK.
Except for this one, because I gotta tell you: this book pulled me out of my rut of only being able to read non-fiction and academic papers after I graduated from college. I just couldn't get into reading fiction again until my sister put this book in my hand and assured me I'd enjoy it because she had a feeling I'd get along with the main character because she was a lot like me.
I fell in literary love with Celaena Sardothien. I fell in love with this world and its' characters.
And if Celaena had been a grown-ass adult and not a damned child, she'd be my all-time book girlfriend.
Why don't we talk about book girlfriends more?
