Traitor to the Throne picks up after the events of Rebel in the Sands. Amani is wondering where Jin has gone too and is mad at him for leaving. Her friends and the Rebel Prince are still plotting against the Sultan and trying to find ways to take over the throne as well as go on missions that could leave any of them dead.
Amani meets a new character who is the catalyst to this story and causes trouble. Due to the new character thrusting Amani into a new situation, she has to fight for her life and befriend new people as well as plot.
Traitor to the Throne is even better than Rebel in the Sands. There is a lot of twists and oh my gosh moments throughout this book.
