The Geek Who Saved Christmas by Annabeth Albert
5.0

Thank you so much Annabeth Albert for the ARC of “The Geek Who Saved Christmas”.

This comes out on 11/9 on paperback & can also be found on Kindle Unlimited.

This is my second Annabeth Albert book and my goodness I am even more of a fan than I was before.

It is no surprised that I am a fan of M/M romances so when the opportunity came to read this, I jumped on it. Oh and let’s throw Christmas theme and takes place in Philadelphia - SCORE!

“The Geek Who Saved Christmas” is about two neighbors – a merry Gideon Holiday and not so merry Paul Frost who work together to make Paul’s house the perfect Christmas home for when his brother comes to visit. Gideon is always willing to help and such a contributor to the community where as Paul just goes day by day in his normal routine. We knew that Gideon always had a crush on his neighbor but never anything about Paul to know if he was even gay. But once they start working together, the sparks are inevitable. I will say that the steamy scenes definitely left me blushing!

I am such a fan of dual POVs and this was no exception. Annabeth does exceptionally well smoothly connecting each chapter with the two POVs.

I never knew how much I loved a grumpy to sunshine trope until I read my first one this past year. This one was just as charming as well because you know that the grumpster is going to come around it’s just a matter of when and how. Plus there is a moment where the roles are reversed.

Also this was my first book where the main characters were not in their 20s. I loved reading about older adults and their relationships. It was very refreshing!

I know this is a stand alone but can we get a sequel because we all know Gideon is going love party planning?! #iykyk
