How to End a Love Story
by Yulin Kuang
I did not see myself rating this favorably until the last 1/3 of the book.
Helen is insufferable. Grant is insufferable. They deserve each other.
I didn't root for them until about 2/3 of the way in. It was the time elapsed and character growth that finally added some depth to the story. While trauma bonding over Michelle's death SEEMS to be deep enough, it isn't until they take the time to learn more about themselves and reexamine their lives, choices and relationships.
Maybe I'm just high but that really hit me in the feels.
