One of my favorites of the Narnia books. The ending really gets me. When I was young I first loved Narnia then hated it for the allegory. Now, it’s almost a spiritual read, seeing myself in Edmund or Lucy or taking Aslan’s words as a challenge for myself. I understand Narnia’s critics, but sometimes you need beautiful, child-like lessons to grow.
