“I said that wrong. What I meant was it’s hard to believe you’re an introvert because you shine in every room you enter.”

He’s Lucifer, wearing the disguise of a Ralph Lauren model.

This was so much more than I expected! I loved this so much!

“I’m not obsessed with Rafe.”
I’m totally obsessed with Rafe, but not in the way Molly is implying. No, my obsession was forged in the hellfires of acrimony. My obsession is purely professional, and I operate on the premise of keeping an eye on your enemies.

I work for a massive, international nonprofit and yet we still don’t get retreats to tropical islands for leadership training lmao

But the organization is also mostly women so this male-centred, egocentric, stuck-up-filled, sausage fest wouldn’t be something I’d want to attend anyway lmao I do not have it in me to have patience with sexism, not anymore, so Tris had more patience that I would have.

She was grace. She was poise. She was fed up in the end

But the end??

*perfection*

I always say: I burn bridges because I can SWIM

“Fuck,” he murmurs into my skin. “You taste as good as I imagined.”

I guess I did talk about the end first but I’ll also talk about how much I adored our main characters together! I love a good workplace rivals to lovers and Rafe was *starts sweating* very attractive

I have so much love for books that feature a little getaway like this and this had lots of little things I loved and the humour was top notch

Thank you so much to Forever Publishing and the author for this ARC!

“This is hardly office appropriate.”
I mean, that was the entire point of this dress. I just never imagined I’d be wearing it with Rafe.
His eyes darken. “You’re right.” He leans down, speaking directly into my ear.
“I’d rather it was balled up on the floor with my face between your thighs.”
