i was terrified that i was going to hate this book. i’m very glad i didn’t because as an avid the love hypothesis enjoyer i would’ve treaded through the worst things to get to the adam & olive crumbs. but it wasn’t terrible. the sarcasm and the banter scratched my 2 braincells in all the right ways that i felt morally obligated to binge read the book.

though i didn’t finish love on the brain (and still after reading this have no plans to), i couldn’t not not read love, theoretically, something always brings me back miss hazelwood. i’m basically like an addict that’s trying way too hard to re-feel the first hit. though this is no tlh and the next one probably won’t be either, i’ll be back again for her next book because once again i just never learn 😔

(thanks to edelweiss & my job at b&n for the arc 🤗)
