I really enjoyed this! I loved all of the characters, except Gideon, but his hate is for a good reason. Bloodlust was a fun, sweet read between Sebastian, Leona, Piper, Whitney, Victor & Charlotte but had a lot of dark aspects regarding each characters past and Leona's current and future situation. All of the relationships throughout are found family and full of loyalty. The author did a great job portraying the love each character felt for another that had me feeling the same way towards them.
I loved the reveal towards the end of the book and feel like it'll be a huge part of the sequel. I know I have a few questions about Sebastian's lineage and what that means now after everything.
It took me a few chapters to get into the POV. It's "dual" 3rd person, but instead of focusing on one character per chapter it switches randomly from Sebastian to Leona. Towards the end, there are more perspectives introduced and that had me feeling like I was back at the beginning of the book too lol. I had to slow down and find who it switched to.
There's a few triggers in this book that include: mention of and on page SA, childhood abuse, kidnapping, hostage, and the normal amount of blood and gore for a vampire book.
