The Villain
by L.J. Shen
Brought me to the brink of insanity as I read it. Something about him sufficiently ignoring her for a good amount of the book was funny. Making me want it as much as her. Yes I’m aware I’m messed up lmfao.
Completed it all in one sitting by pulling an all nighter. Which says it all. I knew I had to finish the book. In hunters book I had such a soft spot for Cillian toward the end. I wanted him to be understood.
And when I found out he had a book I just had to read it. And read I did! And when I also found out that the book was about Persephone I was so confused because I had the same misconception that he was looking at Belle. Then I thought maybe I read it wrong but when it all got cleared up I yelled from the top of my lungs “I was RIGHT!”
Anyway…
It’s safe to say I absolutely devoured this book. It wasn’t my intention to fall in love with this book as much as I have and I’m blissfully surprised to find what I’ve been looking for in a long ass time— a five star read.
This made me laugh and want to burst into flames from the sizzling heat between them. But it’s a heavy read as well.
