Ok I think I put this on hold at the same time as another book (a memoir) and somehow got them mixed up, so for like half of part one I thought this was nonfiction LOL
This is a great story and I really liked the development of multiple characters' plotlines. It reads (listens) very well and even though parts are slow moving, it kept me very invested.
I didn't love the ending and felt kind of anticlimactic so it's not a full 5 ☆ but I would recommend it. My favorite parts were Nick's and May's sections. It was definitely different than what I expected going in but I am happy with it and I'm glad I read it.
I love Eunice Wong's narration as usual.
