The Slight Edge: Turning Simple Disciplines Into Massive Success and Happiness
by Jeff Olson, John David Mann
I often find that self-help and self-growth books tend to repeat their main idea a lot. Sometimes in different words or with different examples but I frequently think that the book could have been half the size or less.
With "The Slight Edge" however it became clear to me that it's not about thousand of new ideas or strategies to be explained and introduced in those books, but to make it as easy and as natural as it gets to take those strategies and put them into action. And like that reading "it's so easy to do..but so easy not to do" a billion times really becomes a mantra.
I did enjoyed the book a lot although it wasn't the most inspiring on an emotional level.
If you get your hands on it, definitely take your time to read it, and especially put those ideas into actions.
