The main problem that I had with this book was the attitude toward religion in general. I think he is probably an atheist. I think that one should make an effort to be respectful and unbiased when reviewing other people's religions, no matter your feelings about them. The other problem that I have is that he applies the qualities of some bad people to every member of the religion. I believe that there are plenty of members, especially kids growing up now, that are not following some of these rules blindly like some of their parents. If that wasn't the case, there wouldn't be so many speaking out in court against abuses in the church and leaving the church. There was a lot of good information in this book about the Mormon Church and its founding, as well as the split between LDS and FLDS.
