I'm really enjoying this series that seems to focus so much on how girls can do anything boys can do and strong female characters showing that they can pursue their dreams no matter what.
In this story, we have another girl who is interested in a job that not very many women aspire to. She determinedly follows her dream and takes steps to make it happen. There is also the romance aspect of the story, but I feel like even in that this character shows a true strength in knowing what she wants and not settling for less than she deserves.
I love how each book mentions something about some of the past characters in the series, so that while each book can be read as a stand alone, it's still got something tying everything together.
I'm looking forward to continuing in this series and I intend to attempt to make my daughter read them as well.
