The Stroke of Winter
by Wendy Webb
I wonder if Wendy Webb knows there are other ways to write a story. I wanted a spooky, haunting small town like I got in Daughters of The Lake. I don't care about Tess and Wyatt's romance, in fact, why does there always have to be a romance with her stories? Wharton is magical in the winter time, you don't have to tell us this for the 17384993349x in the same book. I wanted a ghost story and got lifetime movie with recipes, some random ghost knocking and EVPs, and then half baked murder mystery. I won't be reading this author again, as her books have gone downhill.
