This one will be sitting with me for awhile. It touched on one of the darkest times in histories and was based on a real person..a person who I had previously never heard of. This book could easily send you down the rabbit hole googling this name and that name. I wanted so much for everyone to get the ending they deserved, but I know that is not how it works.

poor Dana. And Leon. But I am glad that gita and lale got to be together. I can’t call it a happy ending in the typical happy ending….but a loving ending for them.
