This book was really adorable. A lot of the characters actions were things that I could’ve seen myself doing at 16 years old. These characters just felt like actual teenagers who were dealing with regular teenager things like breakups, first loves, and jobs! I liked shoshanna because she always wanted the best for everyone. She really had the best intentions with certain situations but sadly didn’t think things through like she should’ve. Jake was cute and I loved his relationship with his mom! He also was a super great cook and that was such a nice addition to his character! This book had really nice representation of religion and sexualities and I felt like it was well done. Overall, this book just didn’t wow me and I’m not sure why! It’s was super cute though! ⠀
