I really liked Nya and Johan as characters but there were a lot of tropes in here that I disliked: "he can't possibly be interested in me," unnecessary lack of communication, commitment issues due to seeing someone else's actions....all of it was really annoying.
Otherwise, great queer rep and great examples of consent.
I hate Nya's dad (naturally) I wish she would have told him off when she realized he had been lying to her the whole time that he was in prison.
I had an issue with Johan not communicating with Nya
Nya understandably has a lot of self doubt due to all of the trauma in her life but I love the way that she fought through it all
