I think it's been...about a decade since I've read through the books. I was hesitant to reread them, and I can kind of see why. As I read, I remembered why I liked them as a middle schooler, but I can also see why adult me was skeptical. It was a quick read for how long it is, and it feels good to dive back into my YA world, even if only for a while. We'll see how the rest of them go.
