I changed my original rating (given right after I finished the book) for one simple reason: half the time I wanted to smack the characters. While I do like most of the characters, I still wish they wouldn't jump to conclusions, refuse to listen, or make stupid decisions. Or do all three (I'm looking at you, America). I want to make them all sit down and tell their side of the story one at a time with no interruptions!

That being said, I really did enjoy the book and all the twists and turns. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series and finding out what happens in the end. Of course, I have a few hunches as to what's going to happen, but I've already been surprised by events before so I have no idea what to expect next. For all I know, everyone dies in the end and no one gets their happily ever after. But I hope that's not the case.
