While this coming-of-age story is told in a unique style with the MC writing letters to an anonymous receiver, it was overall not very engaging. I almost didn't finish it because of this, but since it was a short story I figured I would finish it. However, the story didn't get better, I didn't grow attached to any of the characters, and the end reveal did not have the impact I felt it should have.
