Chili Cauldron Curse
by Lynn Cahoon
This was a fun intro story in a new series. Normally I have trouble connecting to characters in short stories, but it didn't take me long to fall in love with Mia and her grandmother. I really enjoyed the witchcraft and the mystery. The pacing was good, and the story is well-written. I wish the final scene with Mia had played out a bit more, but it didn't take away from my enjoyment. I cannot wait to start the first book in the series!
