From the moment Logan Carter was introduced I wanted to read his story. From the moment Joey was introduced as his best friend I wanted their story. The wait was 100% with it. I’ve been on #TeamLoJo from the very beginning and I can’t even begin to describe my emotions while reading their story.

After being heartbroken Joey runs away to Florida, leaving her small Texas town. A few months later she is back for her friend Tori’s wedding, whose soon to be brother in law just so happens to be her best friend, her crush and the one her broke her heart. Logan is clueless as to why Joey left, but he is lost without his best friend, so when she comes back, he is excited but wants to know why she left all those months ago.

LoJo have always had a connection, there was always so much chemistry between them. Throughout the book their connection and bond just seemed to grow. They are each other’s ride or dies, no matter what. I loved that we got more of Tori and Ethan, plus some Kat and Brady throughout the story and could see the love they had for Joey, she was truly a member of the family.

Breathless is an AMAZING best friends to lovers romance that will capture your heart from the very first page to the very last. There were some unexpected twists and turns and things weren’t always easy but no relationship is.
