It's the first book I read in this series and it was a great discovery.
I assume it's better to have read the previous instalment as there are some references and sometimes it's not so clear if you can get all of them.
I love the novel, the well researched historical background and I loved the well written and developed characters.
The plot was engaging and kept me hooked till the last page.
I look forward to reading other instalment in this series.
