What a strange book, but it's a Doctor Who book so it kind of comes with the territory. While the humor was spot on and it was great to see the Doctor, Rose, and Jack (even if only Jack was in there sparringly) take down another bad guy. I just wish that this had taken place on another planet like the book had originally made it seem in the first chapter instead of jumping through history again. That's part of the fun of Doctor Who, planet jumping and seeing what else lives out there in this fictional universe. So far we have only had one book in this series that went to another planet and I'd love to see more of it. But that being said, this was by no means a terrible book. The writing was great, the plot made sense, and it read like any other Doctor Who adventure.
