Fabulous sunshine vampire/grumpy vampire romance.

I couldn’t help but fall in love with Alexi and Claude who are just so opposite but so good together. Claude is full of sunshine that even his unique taste in clothing reflects that, whereas Alexi only wears black, is stubborn (sometimes just for the sake of it) and short tempered.
This is definitely not an instant attraction romance but Claude is forever optimistic and eventually Alexi cannot help but have the occasional small smile on his face. When Alexi finally lets his walls down, these two wonderful characters turn the heat up and embrace the quirks each other has.
Their story had me laughing out loud one minute then feeling heart sore for Alexi the next. Another fantastic instalment in the VRC series that I couldn’t put down and I highly recommend it if you’re after an original, well crafted plot with humour, a bit of action and drama all alongside a romance that develops into a well earned HEA.
