Who in the history of anyone ever, at any point in time but especially in a present day setting, would use the phrase “I sent you an SMS about it” instead of any of the following: “I sent you the info,” “i messaged you about this,” “did you get my text?”???
I had to stop everything and message my English friend to confirm that “SMS” isn’t actually a common phrase because I felt physically ill. 

Disclaimer for the rest of this review: I have ADHD and listened to the book while working, so it’s entirely possible that I missed crucial information.

TLDR; this book really raised a lot of questions for me 😂

Why is this full ass adult, who has lived in England for at LEAST a few months, and also has an ex fiancée who I thought was English, confused by the usage of the word “tea” in regards to dinner? 
I know I had a major Anglophile phase in my early teens and spent a lot of time reading fanfics about middle aged British men (mainly Tom Hiddleston), but I thought that was something more people were aware of? It comes up quite often in movies, so I’m not sure what caused the confusion. 

I was describing the plot of this book to my spouse and I realized I had no idea what her job is, but the entire book is about her job. I’m pretty sure she was a PT or something, but literally no part of this was clear. 

Anyway. What a strange experience.
