This book was AMAZING! My favorite in the series by far. Caelyn is so freaking strong for taking on what she did; raising her three siblings at just barely twenty one years old after her dug addict parents left them all high and dry. The kids (Will, Ava and Mia) are just so adorable and wonderful tiny terrors and I absolutely loved their dynamic, particularly with Griffin. Despite stuggling financially, Caelyn did everything and anything she could to give those kids the best life, giving them whatever they wanted and needed, even at the expense of herself. Griffin came into her life and gave her love and support and healing, and along the way, these two broken people mended each other's heart and souls and made a family. This was really slow burn, so be prepared but it is so worth it! I might be in the minority here, but I love when my small town romances have an aspect of suspense and mystery and Catherine Cowles is seriously the master of this. Please read this book! You will not regret it.
