Spiders bite is the first book in the Elemental Assassins series. Do not let the cover fool you, this is not your typical female lead urban fantasy/romance novel. In fact while it does have some guy and girl action that is not the point of the novel at all. Gin is an assassin and she likes her job (most of the time). Her mentor sends her out on one last assignment, which turns out to be a set up. So now she has to team up with the cop investigating her mentor’s murder. Not only to get revenge, but save her self at the same time. This is a fast paced, fun read, and while its not currently well known it deserves to be!
