Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps, Vol. 4: Fracture by Robert Venditti, Rafa Sandoval, Ethan Van Sciver
4.0

This volume focuses on the underlying tensions that resurface when there is a breach of the law among the ranks of the Green Lantern Corps. I think the events further reflect what an excellent leader John Stewart continues to be. He made sure to investigate all of the evidence of the events thoroughly to appropriately determine the culprit. He also didn't announce anything to both Corps. until he knew all of the facts. He continues to be one of my favorite human lanterns and his integrity and intelligence for leadership are largely why.

Kyle and Soranik's relationship is further explored as well and it is clear that they still have a lot of baggage and trust that needs to be reforged. I thought their character arcs gave more insight into that baggage and gave them a lot of dimension as characters. I'm looking forward to seeing more of both of them and how Kyle deals with the aftermath of everything that happened this volume. Based on the ending of this volume, we're possibly going to see Apokolips and maybe even Darkseid. He's one of my favorite DC villains so I'm looking forward to it.
