3.5 I meannn, is the message important? Yes. Is Bradbury's writing style impeccable? Yes. Is the setting of the book with its futuristic apocalyptic vibe enough to set the scene for a page turning book? Ehhhh. I liked the beginning of the book but towards the middle and end it seemed to drag on. While I did think that the actual ending of the book was a pleasant surprise, the lead up to that point seemed to go on to long for the length of the book. The characters were also very unlikable, and yes I am aware this book is OLD but still, this made it harder to read the book. While I do not regret reading this classic, the main thing I took away from it is that I want to read more of Bradbury's works not for the plot which was okay but, for his writing style alone.
